Vibrant Coral Reef

The ocean has always been a source of inspiration for me, and coral reefs, with their incredible biodiversity and vibrant colors, are among the most breathtaking ecosystems on our planet!

Coral reefs are often called the rainforests of the sea - home to nearly 25% of all marine species despite occupying less than 0.1% of the world's ocean area. However, they are under severe threat due to climate change, ocean acidification, pollution, and destructive fishing practices. Rising water temperatures cause coral bleaching, a devastating phenomenon where corals lose their symbiotic algae and, with it, their vibrant colors and ability to survive. Without urgent conservation efforts, we risk losing these vital ecosystems. 

 

Through this design, I wanted to capture coral reefs' beauty and diversity while spreading awareness about their fragile state. The bright elements like tropical fish, sea turtles, seahorses, and intricate coral formations reflect the reef’s natural vibrancy - before environmental damage takes its toll.
