Olena Kurylo. Book Illustration

"This Also She Did" - the second volume of the illustrated book "She Did It" for children and teenagers. Like the first volume this picture book was created in cooperation with 100 creators of illustrations and texts, the National Democratic Institute and the Publishing House "Vydavnytstvo". This book is about prominent Ukrainian women who have achieved exceptional success in their fields and influenced the course of world history. My illustration is dedicated to Olena Kurylo - a Ukrainian linguist, dialectologist, author of popular textbooks on the Ukrainian language, the creator of Ukrainian scientific terminology, and the victim of Stalin's terror.
