Madagascar. Pattern Collection

The aim of this project was to create a unique, hand-drawn surface pattern celebrating the rich and diverse nature of Madagascar. I researched Madagascar’s incredible biodiversity and carefully selected my favorite species to feature in the design. Since Madagascar is the only place in the world where lemurs live in the wild, I had the joy of choosing from a wide variety of fascinating lemur species, along with other distinctive flora and fauna. The final pattern was painted using gouache, scanned, and thoughtfully composed in Photoshop to create a vibrant, decorative artwork perfect for licensing on apparel, home décor, stationery, and more
